Tour Plan

If your flight comes in at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), a Giant of Africa Safaris agent will be there to meet you and drive you to your Arusha hotel. Overnight, you'll stay at your lodging and wait for your tour the next day. Accommodation: Outpost Lodge Meal plan: Breakfast and dinner
We leave early in the morning after breakfast for Lake Manyara National Park, which is a pristine paradise known for its many birds and cats that climb trees. The Park's western line is the scenic western cliff of the Rift Valley. East of the park is Lake Manyara, which is small and alkaline. A lot of the park is covered by the lake, which floods and dries out with the seasons. When it rains, thousands of flamingos live there. The name Manyara comes from the Maasai word for a famous plant that is used to build a wall around a family farm called a boma. The Park has a wide range of plants, from grassland to evergreen forest. A giraffe, a zebra, a wildebeest, a buffalo, an elephant, and maybe even a lion relaxing in the trees will be in the park. We go to our tent for dinner and the night after lunch and a long game drive. Accommodation: Migombani Camp Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
We leave for Serengeti National Park early in the morning after breakfast. There is nothing quite like the Serengeti. It's famous for its huge, open fields where you can see a lot of wildlife. The Serengeti is one of the oldest environments on Earth and Tanzania's largest national park. The environment and plants there haven't changed much in millions of years. There is a lot of wildlife in the Serengeti, but the Great Migration may be its most famous event. Many wildebeest, along with many zebras and cattle, move every year in the same routine, always looking for new grass to graze on. It depends on how much rain falls each year to tell exactly when the Migration will happen. We go to our tent for dinner and the night after lunch and a long game drive. This is a beautiful park where we will spend two nights. Accommodation: Nyani Campsite Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
After breakfast in the early morning, we continue our drive through Serengeti National Park on our way to Ngorongoro crater. This crater looks like a lost world when you first see it. A wild area with sweeping grassland, patches of acacia forest, and sparkling lakes and swamps is hidden by the steep volcanic walls. Two to three million years ago, a big volcano blew up and fell in on itself, making the Crater. It is well-known for both its beautiful geology and the fact that it is a nature reserve where some of the densest populations of big mammals in all of Africa live. Even the drive down into the Crater is an adventure. Once you get to the floor of the Crater, you'll quickly be surrounded by a lot of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and more than 500 different kinds of birds. You have the best chance of seeing a rare black rhino in the Crater. They are sometimes seen in the open fields. Our trip ends with a long game drive and lunch. For dinner and the night, we leave for your camping. Accommodation: Migombani Camp Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
We leave for Tarangire National Park early in the morning after breakfast. The Tarangire River flows through the Park, which is how it got its name. Wildlife in the area can only get water from this "river of warthogs" during the dry season. Elephant grass, acacia woods, and lush groundwater forest are some of the places where the plants are very thick. People come to the Park to see the elephant families, who often hang out by the river. There are also chances to see giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeest. Many dangerous animals, like lions and leopards, are very close to these animals. Tarangire National Park is home to more bird types that breed there than anywhere else on Earth. We go back to Arusha after lunch and a long game drive.
